Naming Rights: Refers to a form of advertising and marketing whereby a business, organization, or individual, places its (his/her) name on the facility for a fixed amount of money over a period of years - or often with universities in perpetuity. In return, the naming rights sponsor is guaranteed benefits such as luxury suites, club seats, name also on the scoreboard and other inside signage inventory, name on tickets, brochures, event advertising, the right of first refusal to sponsor certain events, employee group discounts and the like.
