
NARROWCASTING AND ENTERTAINMENT LOGISTICS
In Stedman Chapter 3 of the text there is a strong emphasis on Logistics and there is an important tool used for marketing, booking scheduling and advertising that is only a little over a decade old and that is the internet. In the text they focus on the importance of "today's high tech world" and "an additional event vendor may be a web developer or Internet company.
In today's entertainment business, I believe that this is of the most importance in designing, planning, and controlling event logistics. With every event and venue there is a web site or there should be.
I am introducing the concept of Narrowcasting and have attached an in depth paper of my own on the subject.
This is the future of logistics and communication in the Entertainmnet business.
